Thousands of women across the 12 wards in Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo state on Wednesday trooped out and endorsed Chief Olusola Oke, SAN as ahead of the primary of the All Progressives Congress in April, next month.
One of the women, Omowole Felicia who spoke to THE PLAINTRUTH at the event, said the entire community was behind Oke to become the next governor of Ondo state.
She said,” We decided to come out today to show our support to our son, brother, uncle and father, Chief Alex Olusola Oke.
“We are rallying round the town of Igbokoda, Ilaje local government headquarter to show to the whole state that the only aspirant we are supporting for Ondo 2024 governorship election is Chief Olusola Alexander Oke SAN.
“Oke has been a wonderful son to the community, and the entire Ondo state. We cannot forget his role to the development of our community.
“With Chief Oke, a better Ondo State is assured. We know him, trust and depend on him to transform Ondo State.”
