The National Working Committee NWC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has settled for Senator Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) as Senate president and Abass Tajudeen as Speaker, House of representatives (North West).
A document issued after the NWC meeting on Monday in Abuja indicated that the leadership of the APC adopted Ahmed Tinubu’s zoning template to pick the principal officers of the 10th National Assembly.
They are: Barau Jubrin (Kano), Deputy Senate President – North West, Deputy Speaker South East-Hon. Ben Kalu (Abia)
