President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero, who was earlier arrested by the Department of State Services, has been released.
Ajaero was released on Monday night to one of his lawyers,Barrister Marshal Abubakar from Femi Falana Chambers.
THE PLAINTRUTH reported this morning that Ajaero was arrested at the International Airport in Abuja on his way to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London.
The NLC, had threatened to embark on strike if Ajaero was not released around 11:10pm.
