Gbolahan Oyedemi, a serving Deputy Commissioner of Police under the Lagos State Police Command, DCP, has committed suicide.
His body was reportedly found hanging in his private home, Ogbomoso, Oyo State on Monday.
The late Oyedemi served as the Aide de Camp (ADC) to a former governor of Oyo State, Late Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, in 2006.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, Alagbon, DSP Eguaoje Funmilayo, confirmed Oyedemi’s death.
