A Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Igboho today, led a protest against the administration of President Bola Tinubu in the United Kingdom.

The protest, tagged “One Million Rally” took place near BBC Broadcasting House in London.

Addressing a crowd in London on Saturday, Igboho called on the British government, the United Nations and other western countries to rescue Nigerians.

He said, ” We have over 80 million Yoruba people in Nigeria. That means, the number is more than enough to disintegrate from Nigeria.

“Therefore, I call on the sons and daughters of Yoruba to come together and work in unity with a view to rescuing ourselves from Nigeria.

“Before the British government joined us together, Yoruba had always managed it’s resources, had it’s own language. We have nothing in common with Fulani.

“The British government joined us together by force; nothing good has come out of the union over years.

“I am begging Britain and other western countries to remove Yoruba from Nigeria. Enough is Enough.”
