Contrary to the claims that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa voted in his unit at ward 4, Ugbonla in Ilaje Local Government, THE PLAINTRUTH can authoritavely report that the election did not take place in the area.

The Chairman of the Governorship Primary Election Committee and Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Ododo. Governor Ododo, had awarded the total number of 2,485 votes for Aiyedatiwa against Chief Olusola Oke who got 2,511 votes in Ilaje Local Government.

However, the video evidence sent to THE PLAINTRUTH on Saturday, revealed that Aiyedatiwa was unable to vote in his unit.

Recall that the exercise was characterized with violence, protest in Okitipupa, ldanre, Akure, the state capital, Supare, Akoko South-West, and other areas, by governorship aspirants, party members across the state.

Political thugs who stormed voting centers, disrupted the exercise and chased supporters of some governorship aspirants away from voting.

Despite the official results, the primary suffered allegations of irregularities while the majority aspirants insisted the election did not take place.

Meanwhile, Aiyedatiwa maintained that the All Progressives Congress held a hitch-free governorship primary in the state.
