The #Endbadgovernance protesters in Kano on Saturday asked the Russian president, Vladimir Putin to intervene in the ongoing hunger protests across Nigeria.

The aggrieved protesters were seen displaying Russian flag.

Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa is battling high inflation and a tumbling Naira after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ended a fuel subsidy.

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has raised the alarm over the killing of protesters by policemen.

NLC claims that the report of death of protesters has increased to 40.

President Bola Tinubu is yet to address the nation on the way forward.
