A leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress on Ondo state, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN says his two wives, Dr. Daisi and Mrs. Nkem Oke are well-behaved women who come from good family backgrounds.
Oke, who stated this while addressing the APC supporters and leaders in Ikare, Akoko North East in continuation of his consultation tour of the state’s 18 council areas ahead of the April primary election, said the two wives had the best interests of Ondo state at hearts.
He said” My first wife, Dr. Daisi Oke is a Ph.d. holder who retired as a principal. She served Ondo state as a school principal for 35 years
“Apart from that, she represented the entire Southwest as a swimmer in the 70s. My second wife, Nkem, is a loving woman
“When my political enemies can’t find anything against me, they are saying I married an Igbo woman. Is it wrong to marry an Igbo woman?
“My wives come from good family backgrounds who respect and love people. They always want the best for the people of Ondo state.”
Oke, who promised to not disappoint the people of Akoko if elected as governor, said” I am the closer person to you.
“My Director-General Campaign and Chairman of my campaign is from Akoko. I myself went to secondary school in Ikare. My first wife also attended Mount Carmel Girl’s Secondary School in Ikare.
“Now that God has returned power to you as a people, use it to vote for me at the primary election.
“Consider the future of your children, and vote for me. I will return the lost glory of Ondo state. My administration will empower women in Ondo state with money to start businesses.
“Our older parents will be placed on the monthly salaries while my administration will also build government houses at farms to ensure that our farmers live comfortably.”
