The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has warned the national leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olabode George to mind his business, and not to meddle in the affairs of his state.
Chief George, had called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to call Wike to order.
The PDP chieftain, while sounding the warning, said all lovers of democracy would agree with him that political happenings in the oil-bearing state in the last few months if allowed to continue, could lead to a re-enactment of the crisis in the defunct Western Region between 1962 and 1966.
Reacting in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Wike cautioned George to face his business.
He said,” I read the newspapers where the state was credited to Chief Bode George that president Tinubu should call me to order.
“I dont believe he said, and if he said so. Nobody should take Chief Bode George seriously. This is a man who said if Tinubu wins, he would leave Nigeria. Has he left Nigeria now?.”
