Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying Nigerians never expected the agony the country is currently going through.

Makinde specifically faulted the policies of Tinubu which have led to the economic hardship in Nigeria.

Speaking on Saturday at the commissioning of the newly built ultra-modern Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southwest zonal secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State, Makinde said Nigerians would decide who becomes the next president in 2027.

“The APC has been at the helm of affairs in this country, and they have woefully failed us. The people of Nigeria must now decide whether to retain them in power or vote them out in 2027.

“Nigerians are suffering, and there must be an end to it. We need to unite and push for change,” he stated.
